Come back k-fig, we gotta nuva gig!

K-fig’s buggered of on his ‘ols and I’m just back from mine. While I was away the k-fig kept the Fig flag flying, doing a last minute 0.5 Fig gig with the groovy Gecko 3 at Henry’s Cellar Bar. I’ve heard the music was great but between the songs was comedy of errors! Usual Fig then. Wish I’d seen it but then if I were there, I would have been playin’ I guess. Nice one Keef.

Next gig is at the first Acoustic Edinburgh of the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe on 1st August. We’ll both be there this time, I hope. it is FREE, so getyerarsesdoonthere!

Big Fig is a Big Ham!

I recently had a starring role in a short film made by our buddies Amplifico to kick start an appeal for donations to help them finish their album.

They’re a great band, unsigned and trying to do it all themselves rather than chasing a record deal with a mainstream label, and they are stuck half way through recording out of funds – so please, please, watch the vid (checking out my acting “skills” in the process), catch the free live web broadcast of their gig on July 19th, and donate a wee bit o’ money through PayPal (if you like them) and get your mugshot on the inside of the album cover.
