SoundCloud is cool. We are using it to share ideas, works in progress, collaborations etc: a Fig Lab of bubbling, potentially dangerous materials, some of which might end up as polished fig tunes. We’ll post our SoundCloud stuff here too. Follow us on SoundCloud.

Needle’s Eye (Razor’s Hedge mix) :: An unfinished idea from Keith Fig, which he gave to Tim Fig to play about with. This is the result. Rather than being a final arrangement, elements of this mix will probably fuse with what ideas for the song remain in Keith’s head, to create the final offering. So, this is  about half way to being the final track but pretty listenable none the less.

Taste That State :: Here’s a gem of a rough demo done by Tim Fig and Trip  (aka Paul Ryan / Super8). Trip sent Tim a basic instrumental to which Tim added lyrics, extra drums and electric guitars, before sending it back to the Tripster for more itterative doodling. The end product is pretty interesting, if a little lo-fi.
